Google search redirected links in IE and Firefox

Wanted to let you know that I'm still trying to get hold of a Windows disc. I do have a question. Does it matter which version of Windows I use? I have Vista on my laptop.

Yes it matters.

It has to be Vista media with same service pack as you have.

I just wanted to come back and say thanks for all your help. I restored the laptop back to it's original factory settings. All is well now.
