Default I need to get rid of all spybot files and registries now! Uninstall spybot

I NEED TO UNINSTALL SPYBOT COMPLETELY!
I have followed all the instructions from:
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=32529

i would wish to hopefully somehow know all the registry keys and the hives they (spybot files) are in so that I can SAFELY remove all spybot files without hurting any of my other files.

I am trying to install new software and I have deleted every file I could find. I am stuck. I do not know what to do.

Please, someone, help me install this monster that is Spybot :(

I think the instructions should be adequate enough. The newer builds of Spybot, I recall such as 1.6.x, should already remove themselves from the registry.

What is the problem with Spybot, if I may ask?

Default Should I get rid of Spybot 1.6.2

I deleted an old driver from a former printer, not realizing Spybot was attached. Spybot 1.6.2 settings and tools have all been messed up ie ignore registry, some browsers, change the colour of Spybot etc.
Should I completely delete Spybot 1.6.2 then put it back on ?

    Hello,

We recommend a fresh install of Spybot - Search & Destroy.

Please uninstall Spybot - Search & Destroy according to this link.
Then make a fresh install of Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.2.
You will find links to several download locations on our website.

Or choose the direct installation file.

    Best regards

Many thanks Sandra, did it straight away. As I had been unsure of what else I might do to the PC, I think I needed needed that reassurance to go ahead.
