Never a Valid Win32 app

i can't download anything because an error box pops up telling me its not a valid Win 32 application. i have tried to download HijackThis which was required from your post "Before you post a HJT log." but the message "not a valid Win32 app" pops up.

Neither can i download Spybot-S&D. i am confused as to what to do and i hope you can help. i couldn't open AVG anti virus on my computer which is my existing anti virus so therefor cannot do a scan. On startup my computer has Malware protection switched off and i cannot switch it on.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.

• When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
  1. DDS.txt
  2. Attach.txt
• Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Download GMER here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:

• Double-click .exe that you downloaded
• Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
• Don't check
  Show All
  box while scanning in progress!
• When scanning is ready, click Copy.
• This copies log to clipboard
• Post log (if the log is long, archive it into a zip file and attach instead of posting) in your reply.

Were you able to run GMER yet?

i have deleted the 2 programs listed above.. i haven't yet been able to down GMER though, when iv tried it either comes up with not a valid win32 app or shows me an empty folder

Download Combofix*from any of the links below. You must*rename it before saving it. Save it to your desktop.

Double click on Combo-Fix.exe*& follow the prompts.

• When finished, it will produce a report for you.
• Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt along with a dds log.

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall

cannot open ComboFix.. it still pops up with not a valid Win32 app.. also where i had saved it to it showed up as 0KB in size

Please download exeHelper to your desktop.
Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
Post the contents of log.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com)
Note: If the window shows a message that says Error deleting file, please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).

still the same problem.. not a valid Win32 app :( and shows up as an empty application... 0KB ;/
