Unhappy Spybot scanning AVIs and WMVs? ARG!

Every time I open (double click) either an AVI or a WMV Spybot wants to scan it. Don't have that problem with any other video format (mpg, mpeg, rm, flv, swf).

What's the secret to get Spybot to not scan those video formats? Having to right click and choosing Play with Windows Media Player is a real pain.

    Running XP Pro SP3.

    TIA,
    Odos

Before I go digging up the post that had a post that tells you how to disable the scanner, I would like you to right click the .avi file > Open with> Windows Media Player (or your player of choice) and then tick the box that said to open the file with this program all the time.

    Does that do the trick?

    Thanks, that cured the problem.
