my computer is infected with this thing....i have already downloaded the latest signature file but it doesn't detect this...on my task bar there's an icon the keeps on popping and it says that my computer is infected with a virus then when clicked a windows pops up and there it says that i have to download this and that program to remove the virus. the site is security center site. i don know what to do coz spybot cant detect this...please help..it has change my home page and it even prevents me to chage it...and from time to time it tries to download other spyware on my computer when i'm connected to the internet so everytime i run spybot it always detects something new.but it never dectects smitfraud.

Please download the latest detection update (30.06.2006):

This should fix it with new detections rules for Smitfraud.
Or choose the direct installation file:

tenks very much...but i have already followed the step by step instruction in one of the thread on how to remove it and i guess it worked out...is it ok?will the effect be the same?but still i have downloaded the latest detection files.do i need to post all the log file i have saved during the procedure?
