Cannot install Spybot 162

Hello People,
The computer that I use is Professional 2000 NT. It was recently re-registered to the present company. The computer had an old version of Spybot Search & Destroy on it which was completely uninstalled. I am listed on the computer as administrator and server but I am not the new owner. I recently downloaded the new version of Spybot but when I try to install the program I get this message: "Error sending request. The server name or address could not be resolved". I use Mozilla Firefox but Spybot seems to prefer IE. Is there any suggestions that you could give me that may help. Thank you..
