    Default C:\windows\system32\comand.com

Hi, after installing Spybot S&D, running a scan and what was found was various malware, spyware, etc. After the scan I restarted the computer and now there is a error message "C:\WINDOWS\system32\command.com
C:\PROGRA~\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed Dll initialization. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." When closed the message repeats itself. I found a simular thread and followed the advice given and it did not work for this problem.

    Hi,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt
    • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
