    Hello,

Which browser and browser version do you use exactly?
Did you close the browser while immunizing?
Have you also used the "Check again" function from the menu bar above?
Do you have other security programs installed that might block the immunization?

    Best regards

    Hello,

Please also try to click a second time on the immunization tab after immunizing.
    Does this change anything?

If this does not help please try the following:
    1. Start your PC in safe mode.
    2. Launch Spybot.
    3. Unselect all the options in the immunization tab except the ones which are not immunized.
    4. Undo Immunization.
    5. Redo Immunization.

    Best regards

    Default Immunize Incomplete

I have run Immunize on Windows 7 and now on Windows 10. For many years, Immunize has never completed its task successfully. I look at Widows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts, and all I see is that Immunization has made a backup copy but left the primary file unchanged. Per a suggestion in this thread, I ran Immunization in admin mode, with the same results. On my Windows 7 boot disk the hosts file was last updated 06/29/2016 08:41 AM, I assume by immunization. But my manual log does not have an immunization run on that date. My Win 7 hosts file was updated sometime between 26-Feb-2014 and 22-Jun-2016.

I'm not sure if this is related, due to the amount of time passed, and different computers. But I remember on one of your computers you have Webroot Secure Anywhere, and I found a post on their forum about how to remove a shield so you can immunize the hosts file. It's a post from 4 years ago, so older, but a look at it should not hurt:

Default Immunize Not Complete - etc\hots Unchanged

I looked at the Webroot article, and I told Webroot to "unprotect" HOSTS. I then ran immunize (2.8), and I got the message "316242 of 331878 entries are already immunized, but 15636 are still unprotected!". I checked the hosts file, and I saw that a backup copy had been created, but the hosts file is still its original 824 bytes. What do I have to do to get immunization to protect the remaining 15636 entries (and the hosts file)?

I'm not sure.I had a look around on hosts file immunization, but couldn't find much beyond what you've already tried. I'm going to link you to the Spybot contact form, so you can ask one of them.
