    Default Hi everyone

    I have been having trouble with Virumonde in all its forms and Spybot crashed a few times when doing a full scan. I have since run 2 further scans and although the word Virumonde comes up in the bottom left of my monitor, the scan hasn't crashed, but similarly it hasn't found anything these times. Does anyone know whether this means the virus has gone?

    This is only the status bar displaying the products Spybot - Search & Destroy is currently searching for. It does not mean that all these items are on your PC.

    Thanks so much for answering so quickly! Well it's only been five minute or so, but it appears a little better, but it has been a pain all day, locking and not responding to anything resulting my my having to manually turn off on the PC box itself. Spybot crashed about 6 times too, again resulting in the PC locking. But, as I say, the last two full scans were clear, other than a basic 'right media' thing which I deleted.
    My problem is that I don't know anything about computers so I feel totally lost.

    Give it an hour and let us know how the PC is running then.

    I can't believe how brilliant this help is! I have struggled with computers for years, and it's so good to be in touch with someone who is simply 'there' for me and helping!

    What should I do in an hour tashi? How do I find this thread and how do I contact you again later?

    See how the PC responds when doing your normal surfing, if you notice redirects or anything remiss stop web browsing and post here.

    You can keep track of your thread/s and choose how to be notified about updates. Subscriptions
