    Hi,

You didn't post the requested ComboFix report.

but my desktop is kinda jerky now. an example would be if i close an application it will close in like 3 steps.
Could you describe with more details, please?

We'll remove ComboFix after the cleaning operation is finished.

you didnt request it again. posted

umm, just slow. like if i hit the start button it will open fairly quickly but if i hit it again the close it it will close slowly. although its not doing it right now. it could just be AVG. ive noticed it using a lot of resources lately.

    ok.

update on that slowness, it may just need defraged or something, i noticed a few minuts ago that it only does it when the screen im closing leads to the desktop, so i changed my wallpaper to a different picture and its not as bad. although its still noticable. still shouldnt be doing it though.

    Hi,

Yes, defragging wouldn't harm, especially if you haven't done that lately.

    Let's uninstall ComboFix before that:
    • Click START then RUN
    • Now copy-paste Combofix /uninstall in the runbox and click OK

after un-installing combo-fix my anti-spyware is still reporting 3 instances, 2 rogue security and 1 backdoor

    Winspywareprotect - hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\drivers

    Bifrost - hkey_current_user\software\wget

    Winantivirus pro 2006 - hkey_classes_root\*\shellex\contexmenuhandlers\shellextention

this didnt show up till combofix. want my antispyware to handle it?
