Default Tea Timer And Windows 7

I was having a problem with Windows 7, Windows Update was failing to install any updates.

After a few days of searching and selectively deactivating programs and testing update, the problem was traced to Tea Timer. As soon as TT was deactivated windows update functioned perfectly.

Currently running Windows 7 home Premium 6.1 (build 7600)

    Hello,

Have you allowed the updates and registry changes before?
Or did you not get any notification?

No notifications at all, just MS update failing continuously. Also shutdown extended from < 1 minute to 30 - 40 mins after an update failure.

Went through disabling selected programs one at a time. As soon as Tea timer was disabled all programs worked perfectly.

    Hello,

As your TeaTimer does not seem to inform you I would recommend to return to the "old" way of monitoring.
Right click on TeaTimer and change it to "Paranoid Mode".
This thread has more details on the new TeaTimer.

    Best regards
