totally confused

today i turned on my computer. this anti virus spy thingy popped up instantly now all the way across the bottom of my screen is little red shields with an x in them i can no longer access my control panel for any reason. im not very good on computers but im in college and i need my lap to do my class work. can anyone help me? i probably shouldnt do this but my number . i really need some help, if anyone can please call let me know what to do. i feel so violated they are forcing me to buy their stuff and i dont want it. thnk you for your time

Do you have Spybot Search & Destroy installed, if so please open Help > About and let us know the version and date of last definitions.

Also please list any other security programs you have running and your operating system.
