Ran Spybot and now internet explorer will not work

Hi I downloaded and used spybot yesterday to resolve several trojans that I had on my computer. My antivirus could not remove them so I used spybot.

Now my internet explorer will not work at all. It will not load when I click on it and I have tried to reinstall IE8 using a flash drive and installing firefox but neither will work. I cannot system restore to resolve the issue either.

I am so frustrated and could use some help! Thank you!!
