Default "antispyware soft" trojan & virus - help!

    hello,

last night i went to a website that looked harmless but immediately began getting pop-ups on my computer. then today ALL of my programs (including paint shop pro, notepad, etc.) stopped working, i started getting alerts from windows defender saying my computer was under attack, i was getting a million pop-ups, including internet explorer & it wouldn't let spybot s&d load. i've tried running online scans but it won't let me download the programs. it also keeps popping up saying, "your computer is under attack, do you want to start your antivirus software?" - when i click yes, it takes me to a webpage for antispyware soft...it won't let me go to ANY other website through internet explorer...fortunately, mozilla firefox works (at least for now).

it put an icon in my tray called "Antispyware Soft." i researched this online & it says it's a virus & my computer is doing all of the things it's purported to cause....

i can't get any antivirus programs to load - help!!!!

    Hi,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt
    • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
