Can you please add this to the tracker?

I tried updating S&D 1.6.2 and got the following error:
"Error retrieving update info file!"
I decided to uninstall and reinstall. When I uninstalled I tried commenting (in the uninstall comment box) that I got this error, and I'm uninstalling to reinstall. I got a message saying that there was an error sending my comment.
After I uninstalled, I ran CCleaner, scanned for issues in my registry and fixed them. I then tried reinstalling S&D and got the following

"Error sending request.
A connection with the server could not be established."

I just uninstalled Malwarebytes and Panda. Would that cause this error?

Hello,

During the installation Spybot tries to download the updates.
You can disable this function in the wizard itself.
Just untick the checkbox in front of "download updates during installation" or "Download Updates immediately".
The updates can be downloaded later on.
