    Default Really messed up

My computer is in a binder and will not do much of anything. I it will not connect to the internet after my wife clicked on an "OK" box online. It acts like it wants to connect but does not find an address. I am unable to get online with it. I have downloaded a few programs and ran them which has not changed a thing. I need help!!!
