Can not access server

I have not been able to access the server to re-install the Search & Destroy program after uninstalling it and restoring my pc to get rid of an annoying virus that blocked Spybot and my antivirus program. I downloaded the file and made a donation (which was accepted). But as I go through the steps of the install program it stops me at the point where the files should be transferred as shown by the bar graphs filling in. A message pops up telling me that I am not connected to the server. Is there something I need to change in my settings or is the server down?

Try unchecking the "Download updates immediately" box; instead download the updates manually onto another computer and transfer them to the infected PC.
