When will the next major update for Spybot S&D be available?

The next version of Spybot - Search & Destroy is 2.0, not 1.7.
We do not have any release date for our next version yet - as we are still working on it.
Please be patient. :-)
To stay up to date you can have a look at our news section on our homepage from time to time.
Or have a look at the beta section in our forum.
Further you will be informed whenever there is a new version out.
We have integrated this function into our current version Spybot - Search & Destroy.
So, whenever there is a new version you will get a notification when you are searching for new updates.

I was scanning the threads and found a post about version 2.0 after posting my question. Thank you by the way for letting me know on your progress on Spybot S&D.
