    Hi,

    Open notepad and then copy and paste the bolded lines below into it. Go to File > save as and name the file fixes.bat, change the Save as type to all files and save it to your desktop.
    @ECHO OFF
    DIR /a/s C:\msconfig.exe >Log.txt
    START Log.txt
    DEL %0

    Double-click on fixes.bat file to execute it. Notepad should open up. Post back its contents, please.

    Hi,

    Please upload this file:

    C:\WINDOWS\tasks\At16.job

    to this website: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/subm...php?channel=76

    Kindly include a link to this topic in the message.

    Click start->run->type msconfig and press enter. Goto startup tab, check if all items are already enabled (let me know if all items were enabled or not already) and click "enable all" if needed, apply and then ok. Reboot if requested to do so.

    Default Browse File Issue

    I tried to browse to the actual file but it will only let me browse to the task folder. Am I doing something wrong?

    Default Reboot

    All of the items were already enabled. After I exited out it prompted me for a restart so I rebooted.

    Default Bleeping Computer

    I figured it out. It would not let me browse into the task folder, so I had to type the entire destination and file when browsing. So it has been successfully sent.

    Hi,

    May I ask have you used that USB drive that started the whole issue (you mentioned it in your earlier topic) during the process?

    Please run Notepad (start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad) and copy and paste the text in the quote box into a new file:

    @echo off
    >Log1.txt (
    ipconfig /all
    nslookup google.com
    ping -n 2 google.com
    route print
    )
    start Log1.txt
    del %0
    • Go to the File menu at the top of the Notepad and select Save as.
    • Select save in: desktop
    • Fill in File name: test.bat
    • Save as type: All file types (*.*)
    • Click save.
    • Close the Notepad.
    • Locate and double-click test.bat on the desktop.
    • A notepad opens, copy and paste the content it (log1.txt) to your reply.

    1. Download TDSSKiller and extract its contents into a folder in desired location (i.e. c:\tdsskiller).
    2. Execute the file TDSSKiller.exe.
    3. Click Start Scan. If threats are found, select skip and click Continue (tool may prompt for a reboot).
    4. Post back contents of log file in c: drive root (name should be in UtilityName.Version_Date_Time_log.txt format)

    Update MBAM, run a quick scan and remove possible findings. Post back the report.

    Default USB Jump Drive

    I actually have not used that jump drive since the incident had occurred. I've been meaning to scan it on another computer or throw it away.
