Spyware Wizard Help!

First let me start by saying that I am hardly what you would call "computer savvy"...

My home page, MSN now has a message that I have been infected by a virus and there are several pornographic pictures that come up. It directs me to purchase "Spyware Wizard" the website is coming up as -
accountbox.com/warning.php

I have tried everything that I can think of (again, not very knowledgable about computers) such as Norton, Spybot, Ad-aware SE.

I am worried because my children like the computer and these pics are extremely disturbing.

Any advice would be great!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry for the wait, logs are many and volunteers are few. I really see nothing that should be causing this, but I am willing to work with you and run some scans to see if we can find something that is hidden. First, we need to uninstall one of the antivirus program, see this:

Update the program you keep and run a complete system scan. Post the complete name and pathway of any item located that can't be deleted. Post that information along with a fresh HJT log and I will see what I can do.

I attempted to uninstall the AVG..It is not listed in my programs or in the control panel. I found the file, but I am getting an error message that it cannot be deleted..

Try Start > All Programs > Look for Grisoft (AVG) and click it, one of the options is uninstall. One of those programs needs to go, there is no way I can tell what kind of problems the conflictions between the two are causing. Post a new log once you have it uninstalled.
Understand that I see no malware in this log, any problems you are experiencing may well be caused by this.

I even tried to delete the file from my C drive-and received a message that access has been denied. Very frustrating :(

Thanks, your HJT log looks good just a little clutter which we will remove and clean a little. It is important to remember you have to think before you ask two programs to do the same job, especially powerful programs like antivirus. You still have AVG runing from services, and we will turn them off like this:

1) Disable the Service
Click Start > Run and type services.msc
Scroll down to AVG7 Alert Manager and right click on it.
Click Properties and under Service Status click Stop, then under Startup Type change it to Disabled.

Do the same thing with: AVG7 Update Service and AVG E-mail Scanner. The next time you reboot you should not see them running in the 023 Service area of your HJT log.

2) The same thing applies to your firewall, if you are running one with Symantec/Norton, the SP2 firewall in the Security Center should be set to off.

3) Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

4) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

5) We need to disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
Open Windows Defender, Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

6) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

6) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and post the uninstall list, a new HJT log and your comments. If you are still experiencing malware issues, I need to know as much as you can tell me about them. If they are popups, are the occuring offline as well as online? Where are they directing to? Do you have the popup blocker in Google activated? Are you receiving any error messages, if so post them "word for word"
