Description:
FlvTube.Player is a media player for playback of flv video files. It also installs FlvTube.Toolbar and runs an undeclared "Homepage Protection Service" in background. After installation it tries to make the user submit personal data to an unrelated thirdparty from Smiley Media.

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If FlvTube.Player uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

  • Delete the registry key "{eca3e63b-2d45-2cad-efb1-65fd6c346935}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "-93V-i" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppDataLow\".
  • Delete the registry key "FLVTube Player" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
  • Delete the registry key "FLVTubePlayer.exe" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.flv\OpenWithList\".
  • Delete the registry key "FLVTubePlayer.exe" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.m4v\OpenWithList\".
  • Delete the registry key "FLVTubePlayer.exe" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4\OpenWithList\".
  • Delete the registry key "FLVTubePlayer.exe" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".
  • Delete the registry key "FLVTubePlayer" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\F4V Video\shell\".
  • Delete the registry key "FLVTubePlayer" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FLV Video\shell\".
  • Delete the registry value "(Default)" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\F4V Video\shell\open\command\".
  • Delete the registry value "(Default)" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FLV Video\shell\".
  • Delete the registry value "(Default)" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FLV Video\shell\open\command\".
