Where is registry backup in Windows 7?

I deleted the wrong key, now windows won't start.

I can open the command prompt and Regedit, but I can't find the backup to import.

Finally found it:

C:\ProgramData\spybot\backup

However, Regedit will not load the backup, saying some registry files are in use.

May be time for a fresh install
