    James,

Thanks for getting back to me

I experience the same thing you are with Firefox but not the degree that you seem to be. It happens to me about once a week , page just closes for about 2 or 3 seconds and pops right back up. I believe that this is a problem with Firefox, I was told that an update would fix it but so far it has not completely.

Open Firefox and go to Help > About and make sure you have version 3.6.15, if not go back to Help > Check for Updates and download and install the latest updates.

There is also a new beta version , FireFox 4, but have not tried it myself yet

Open OTL and click on Clean Up and it will remove programs we used to clean your system along with there backups

    Hi Ken,

Yeah latest FireFox installed, I 'll have a look at FireFox 4.

Will run OTL as suggested and will also look at the threads suggested.

Once again a big thankyou for helping me out, safe surfing indeed.

    Cheers,

    James
