Default Problems with starting a web browser

    Hi everyone,

I have a Dell Laptop with a lot of problems at the moment. I'm typing on a public computer at the library because I can't even open a web browser at the moment. I normally use Chrome, but Firefox and IE aren't working either.

In addition to this , previously saved Word documents keep opening themselves and asking me if I want to save them. Before I lost use of the browsers, I kept getting Google redirects to sites like Hugosearch and Lycosearch. Prior to that, I had a problem with a fake anti-malware program called Anti-Malware Doctor.

I thought I'd managed to get rid of the infection myself, but clearly I didn't... so is there anything I can do with my computer? I can download any necessary programs to a flashdrive here and transfer them over if necessary. Or am I best just giving up and taking it into a computer shop?

    Thanks,

    -Bailey89

Apologies, I've jumped the gun a bit... just downloaded ERUNT and DDS and will post the logs as soon as I can.

    Hi,

I can take a look at those DDS logs if you have them ready.
