    Default Can't remove Conducent Timesink

    I have run Spybot S&D multiple times trying to remove Conducent. Timesink. It removes it but it comes right back.

    I'm unable to connect the infected computer to the internet (probably because of the virus, it will connect but only extremely slow) but I have access to a running pc and a flash drive.

    I saw where forums said not to turn off System Restore but I had already done that.

    I am running Internet explorer and Windows XP.

    The pc may have also been infected with Win32.Autorun. tmp at the same time but that appears to have been successfully removed.

    Appreciate any help!! I have spent all weekend trying to fix this. Thanks.

    As far I remember, Conduncent TimeSink is AdBot. I had it once, not sure can you uninstall software which installed it. Instead of that, I suggest you read this thread: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
