I just installed the latest FileAlyzer2 on my Windows 2000 PC and when I try to run it I get an error that pcrelib.dll is not found. Is there something missing from this install?

Hello,
Same problem on XP SP3 (french).
Cheers.
Also have the same problem. XP SP3 (English)
missing dll with filealyzer2
Hi, I downloaded the latest installer from http://www.safer-networking.org/de/f...zer/index.html and there was no problem with it under XP SP 3 (Could not try it on 2000). The file pcrelib.dll was installed correctly in directory "FileAlyzer 2". Please have a look into the directory, if the file is present. You could also try to reinstall the program, if the file is missing.

Hello,
thank you for the reports!
The installer was indeed missing a DLL. We replaced it with a new installer that includes it now. The version number of the release remained the same since we have not changed FileAlyzer itself.
Please just download the FileAlyzer installer again. Sorry for the inconveniences this may have caused!
The MD5 sum of the old installer was 7C2EFAAA82912FD86C993DA9F013EC0A.
The fixed installer has the MD5 sum 11664F19C467EFE118F015DF966CD3AF.

Yes, the new installer now gets past the error of the missing DLL but now a new error is occurring! Here is the new error message:
"The procedure entry point DecodePointer could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL"
I am running a US version of Windows 2000.
yes, I too am getting another error, different than before... same dll issue but different language... this seems very strange....
