Default Access violations after most recent update

I've never had a problem with Spybot until recently. After download the most recent updates, the program is now giving me the following messages.

If I right-click on anything in the system tray:
"Access violation at address 2C30302C. Read of address 2C30302C"

If I right-click on the desktop:
"Access violation at address 00404506 in module 'TeaTimer.exe'. Read of address 302C3000"

Scanning turns up no malware or viruses. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Which version of Spybot do you run?
Do you have any other security software installed?

    Best regards

I've just installed AVG Linkscanner and straight away I have this Error message pop up. I click OK but it pops up again 30 seconds later. Are the two conflicting with each other?

    Thanks

A quick follow up. The error message has stopped popping up now but I don't know why but it does answer my question (they are not conflicting with each other).

    Default Same error message

    Hi everybody,

I'm new to the forum (found it after Googling the error I'm reporting below). I also began getting the same error messages today:

"Access violation at address 2C30302C. Read of address 2C30302C"
    and
"Access violation at address 00404506 in module 'TeaTimer.exe'. Read of address 302C3000"

Anyone know what causes these... and how to get rid of them?

    Thanks and regards,
    Houstonian

I am now receiving this error, as well. It seemed to occur after updating TweetDeck to the latest version. Anyone else with this error using TweetDeck?

    Default Help!

I am getting the message Access Violation at address 2C30302C Read of address 2C30302C
if you click ok it goes away but you cannot do anything - because it pops back up. If you click the x to make it go away - it does the same thing.
