Every time I run S&D it tells me that I have 4 entries of CoolWWWSearch in the browser.
I clear it with the fix each time, but it is there every time I run a scan again.
Would appreciate help in getting rid of this.

Ran the scan in Safe Mode.
Found the same four items again.
They appear to be in the bookmarks area.
Anyhow, clicked "Fix", and a tick was placed
beside the 4 items indicating that they had been
removed.
I am running another scan in safe mode just to ensure that all is well.

That was disappointing.
Ran the scan in safe mode again and the same
4 entries showed up.
They only show up in S&D.
Was looking forward to getting a clean bill of health,
but didn't happen.
I feel that if I was to run the scan once more that they would
show up yet again even though I was assured that the problem
is fixed after every scan.
S&D just doesn't seem to be getting to grips with it.
When I run tools designed to kill the infection they report back that
nothing was found, which is confusing.
The machine behaves as if it is infected.

Spybot does only detect bookmarks, but does not remove them.
In order to remove a found bookmark please open your browser and edit your bookmarks by deleting the bad one.

The 4 bad bookmarks were removed a long, long
time ago, so I am at a loss to understand what is happening.
I have thoroughly checked my bookmarks folders and, definitely,
those 4 no longer show.
I have a lot of bookmarks, just links to sites, and I remember the
ones in question.
It would be a couple years since I removed the bad ones but, for
some reason, they show up in every S&D scan.
Every good wish.
Anyone got any idea of what could be happening here?
