    Default browsers hijacked by bing

    on my son's computer he has firefox and internet explorer as browsers. click on either of them and bing pops up as the browser. bing has got to go. my son's computer is a dell desktop with windows 7. i have searched for bing in his system and cannot find it. thank you for your help.

    Sadly, many computers come with Bing pre-selected as the default search engine; I recommend "Google SSL (https)" from near the bottom of section 5 of these results, because it's one of the few Google SSL search-plugins that allows IE to provide search suggestions: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/search-eng...ame=google+ssl
