    Anyone have info on this org and their Applicationupdater.exe file and
    info on what this file below is all about?

    I couldn't find what Spybot classes SearchSettings.exe as,because if it is detected by Spybot,I'm not sure what it is called,so I couldn't find it in Spybot's list.
    I did a quick search around through,and this is what I gathered:
    I think it's related to something called Widgi Toolbar,or it may be called MyBrowserBar now,or Spigot Toolbar.Do you have any of these installed?

    Thanks for info. Will remove - found linkage to a yahoo toolbar (which I have never had) and other strange stuff. I follow a rule of if I do not know the reason for a port/window/program being active then I secure it. Thanks HRH
