How do or why can't I get administrator rights on windows 7

"On Windows Vista and Windows 7, Spybot-S&D might tell you that you are not authorized to perform some actions, since they require Administrator rights. You can solve this problem as follows:

1. Right-click the Spybot - Search & Destroy entry in your start menu, instead of just left-clicking to start it.
2. Choose Run as administrator from the context menu."

hello tashi thanks for replying. I know that much and I am logged in to my pc as administrator but it still don't recognise administrator status and I can find anything in S&D to run as administrator ?

hey man thanks! I had tried that before but I didn't get that option untill I did my last updates. But its working for me now, thanks again.
