Program crashes when live protection is on

Hi,

A program, which I am using already for a long time started to crash. I have found out that this problem only occurs when live protection of Spybot is turned on. What can I do (besides switching off live protection)?

Details:

- Operating System: Windows Vista Business SP2

- Spybot Search&Destroy 2.0.5.0

- Program that crashes:

YAP.exe (this is a text previewer for the LaTeX package of MiKTeX - most probably only known to relatively few of you).

- When does YAP crash?

When it opens with postscript graphics included or when displayed text (and/or graphics) is printed. Crashed program is not closed by windows e.g. after sending error report. Process has to be stopped via task manager.

Is this a program specific problem of live protection or are similar things also happen with other programs? Unfortunately, when looking for "live protection" I found many contributions. If there has been already a thread giving a solution to the described problem, then I would also appreciate if you just would give me the respective link.

As this is a beta version of Spybot, problems like this will occur. The only solution at this stage is to use v1.6.2, or turn off the live protection.
