Thread: Spybot system scan blocks at 100% on "scanning for yakes.ru downloaded files"....

    Default Spybot system scan blocks at 100% on "scanning for yakes.ru downloaded files"....

    the system scan in other words never ends as it just blocks on that position, as per printscreen i enclose.
    i would like to know why that happens and what to do to resolve it, in order to finish the scan in order to clean any malware.
    i use windows 7 ultimate 64bits on my pc.

    Default Yakes.ru Issue

    Looks like the block at 100% with the scanning for yakes.ru message is not unique to my machine. I'm running Win 7 Professional 64 bit OS on AMD 9850 Quad Core Processor. Problem may be associated with Win 7 machines as I'm able to run Spybot well on an older machine with XP OS.

    actually, the only way to make "spybot" work again on my desktop PC with WIN7 Ultimate was to reinstall everything..... so now, for the time being, it works again properly......

    you might have to reinstall your OS and all your programs, like i did. that will allow spybot to work again properly ....

    Thank you all for your responses. We are trying to find out what causes this issue, but we unfortunately did not come to any conclusion yet.
