    Default Possibly trojan

My computer decided to die. I started getting hundreds of System 32 errrors spammed on my screen at the same time, and when I got rid of them, all my files were gone, and my "Windows" tab was completely blank, not documents, picutres, or computer tab, nothing.

I forced restart and it wouldn't let me use my computer to choose safe mode anymore, so I forced bios and played around and it finally let me safe mode. From where I set back the date to early October. I managed to get some screenshots and I noticed when I tried connecting to network that folders were being highlighted on my desktop screen even though I had nothing open.

99% of my system files are completely lost and I am wonder if this is a long term event that manifesting by altering the system executions to allow a backdoor.

    I really appreciate any help.

    Hi,

Download and run this to see if items are still hidden.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds file to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt
    • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
