    Default System Fix Scam?

    Please help if you can.
Came home to a screen with "malware warnings" and a window purporting to be a System Fix programme. It seems this is the ONLY thing I can view on PC. Start button reverals no programmes at all and bubble pop up saying Hard Drive Critical and Files indexation process failed. Windows appear less professional appearance than genuine windosws so its obviously a malware trying to get me tio use it. Red X top right will not close window...in fact NOTHING closes or wiorks except for the open to pay for the programme link!!!

I first though HD had been wiped as it appears nothing at all in lists or desktop. BUT a reboot and Spy-bot jumped in there right away with detected threats....so well done you guys......however it scans ok and detects 9 malware of which several are serious threats....cant get ti put them in vault. This System Fix prog seems to have a grip on everything and is telling me HD is full and RAM is not working....yet Spy-bot runs OK...I don't believe it has wiped anything...not in their interest because they are trying to sell me a prog for $84. But it "looks" like there is no OS or any prog on PC...I think the System Fix is hiding it.

    Any ideas please.

1/. Can this be removed and system restored to as it was, please or
2/. Does anyone know the location of this System Fix developer so I can go to whatever country he hides in and eliminate him from planet earth!
Either will do, I am that p****ed off with this now that I will quite easily rid everyone of him/them with the greatest of pleasure now!

    Hi,

Are you able to access "Computer" option via start menu? You may need to transfer tools to your sick computer.

Download & run this on sick computer.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds file to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt
    • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
