    Hi again,

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

    Code:
    DDS::
    BHO: {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - No File
    BHO-X64: {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - No File
    Folder::
    C:\Users\Aaron\AppData\Roaming\Uncumob
    C:\Users\Aaron\AppData\Roaming\Acalsiu

    Save this as
    CFScript

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.

Close all browser windows and refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe (let the tool to update itself if prompted).
    Then post the resultant log.

Uninstall vulnerable Flash versions by following instructions here. Fresh version can be obtained here.

Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update to the latest version...

    Updating Java:
    • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7 Update 2.
    • Click the
      Download
      button to the right.
    • Select Windows on platform combobox and check the box that says:
      Accept License Agreement. Click continue.
    • The page will refresh.
    • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
    • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
    • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
    • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
    • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
    • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
    • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
    • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-7u2-windows-i586.exe to install the newest version. Uncheck Carbonite online backup trial if it's offered there.

    * Go here to run an online scanner from ESET.
    • Note: You will need to use Internet explorer for this scan
    • Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use.
    • Click Start
    • When asked, allow the activex control to install
    • Click Start
    • Make sure that the option Remove found threats is UNchecked and the option Scan unwanted applications is checkmarked.
    • Click Scan
    • Wait for the scan to finish.

Post back its report, a fresh dds.txt log and above mentioned ComboFix resultant log. Is redirecting still occuring?

First off thanks a ton so far for all of the help.

Secondly - I do not think the redirect is still in place - but I will test more toinight.

Lastly - I believe I screwed up the combo fix run. I put the file in and it updated, but then it hung forever before it started its "scan". then it never quite finished, it left a log file, with the combofix.txt file, but it never "completed". or I never saw a complete screen, the last screen which was up said please do not open any programs until combo fix is completed (but it never went any further, even after waiting thirty minutes). however, here are all the other scans.

Ok - after a restart - the redirect is still in place.

Default Not sure if this helps

But I keep getting a "webpage Message" popup box, stating "out of memory line:31".

I get this same message even if I do not have the window open. also since this redirect has occurred I have been getting device controller errors "windows event ID:11" consistently.

Figured I would just as this additional piece of information if it would help you.

    Hi,

Click start->type diskmgmt.msc and press enter. Take a screenshot of disk management window contents and post it back here.

    Hi,

Before we do anything further system repair cd has to be created. Please follow steps here to create one. Then please see if you're able to access recovery environment's command prompt:
    1. Reboot the system with the repair cd.
    2. Wait for the screen where to configure the Language to install, Time and currency format, and Keyboard or input method options so that they are set correctly for your location and language. When done, please press the Next button. You will now be at the main Windows 7 setup screen where you would normally install Windows 7 on to your computer (don't click Install now -button).
    3. Select "Repair Your Computer" -option. Follow the wizard to end up into System recovery options window.
    4. Select Command Prompt -option. Command prompt window should open up.

Don't do anything else but after doing the things above reboot back into normal Windows and let me know if you were able to perform listed things without any issues. Then we can try next attempt in fixing the issue.

I'm creating the disk now - can I ask what you think the malfunction is, or why I am creating the disk?

    THanks,
