Description:
PCPerformer is a fraudulent registry cleaner, it offers to install adware in in its installer but claims to increase the computer performance by cleaning the registry. PCPerformer needs to be registered (and thus bought) so it can actually clean the registry from entries that are claimed to slow down the computer. These entries however do not slow down the computer as the PCPerformer autorun or the adware it installs if those are not deselected.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
  • Entries named "PC Performer" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\PC Performer\PerformerLauncher.exe".

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.
  • Products that have a key or property named "PC Performer_is1".
