    Default HTML advice required please

    Happy New Year to all.
Hope this request is ok in this thread if not please point me in right direction.
I am a computer dummy so please bear with me.

A friend has had access to my computer. I noticed in the history under bing a html shortcut called cp.
When opened it created a typical IE page except it had no writing just some script as follows:
    ¬‹ ³É(Éͱ³)N.Ê,(Q(©,HµU*I¬(ÑÏJ,K„ˆ*Ù¥ä'—æ¦æ•è%ççgg¦*Ø*(9 ÙZ+$–dØê+YÛèCÔÚÙèƒ 7+àŒW

The header box had http ://www.bing.com/fd/sa/cp.html in it
    What is this?
Is it any danger to my pc?
    How can it be read?

It appears you asked about this 12-09-2011 at tomshardware.com?

Have you cleared browser cookies and search history.

Did the person with access to your computer use an Administrator or Limited/Guest account?

What is the operating system and security software installed please and how is the machine running.

    Best regards

A search shows that other than the URL being sent for analysis no alarm was raised.

If the machine shows signs of being infected please see this FAQ in the Malware Removal Forum

    Cheers.
