    Default Spybot scan freezes at Fraud.ActiveSecurity

    Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this request.

    I need help. When I run my scan, it freezes at Running bot-check (47,325/1271990: Fraud.ActiveSecurity). The problem window is empty.
    I'm running version 1.5.2.20, with the latest detection update 7/21/2010. I'm using Windows XP.

    Any help on how to get around this would be greatly appreciated.

    To start,I'd suggest uninstalling the version you have from add/remove programs,then downloading and installing the latest version,Spybot 1.6.2.46:
    http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

    Try scanning with that,and if it still freezes,please post back.

    SpyBot Search Search & Destroy latest version is 1.6.2.46. Upgrade to the latest version and then scan again. Download Spybot-S&D

    I have the same problem, but I have the latest spybot 1.6.2.46. Do you have any idea?
