Default McAfee "fixes" Spybot immunized hosts file

After the lastest update to my McAfee Antivirus Plus, I got a notice that McAfee had "fixed" a corrupt file infected with Generic QHosts.c. Turns out it was my hosts file with Spybot immunizations. I see no way to make this a trusted file, and if I restore if from quarantine, McAfee just sends it back to quarantine. Any solution?

I haven't managed to find a solution yet, but I'm having the same problem.

McAfee identifies the following Threat whenever Spybot attempts to immunise Global Hosts.

    Threat Name: Generic.QHosts.c (Trojan)
    File: Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
    Process Location: Program Files (x86)\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe
Process Description: Spybot - Search & Destroy
