no, 2 of the includes files are invalid (still) and dont get updated, because the update-windows is getting frozen and u need to exit it with task-manager!

Even if it frozen - it's just the visuals, the actual updating takes place in the background by a system service, what would be frozen would be the user interface showing the progress of that, without being able to block it.

@super0zero, drhughes (& @bbnetwork here or in the other thread): to further investigate this issue, could you open your browser and browse to http://127.0.0.1:21321/start , then post the output of that here (might take a moment to appear)?

That ensures we have the log of just one, current, attempt, as created by the update service, without conflicts from the user interface etc.

An example output could be:

[+] Updating Service is active.
[.] Trying to retrieve update info file from http://updates1.safer-networking.org/spybotsd2.uid...
[+] Retrieved update info file.
[.] Info file part done.
[.] Testing which updates apply to this version...
[.] Downloading updates...
[+] All files have been processed.

Did the includes files update over the weekend?
Or is the issue the same?

I've still got the same problems I reported above.

In addition, I've found that the scheduled task for immunisation doesn't run because it has been set up with my administrator as the user and with the "only run when user is logged on" option set. I think that it would be far better to set it up with SYSTEM as the user as happens for the update task.

If you have problems downloading the mentioned Include files please send us or post your update log here.
It should be stored here:

C:\Users\All Users\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs\Updates

Please note that the All Users Folder is hidden.
So if you can't find this folder please check your folder properties.
