Spybot turning off my wireless adapter

So, after installing spybot (no other recent changes to the computer), my laptop's wireless adapter is being disabled every time I turn my laptop on. Very annoying.

Several previous threads noted that this could be a power setting issue, so I checked that. My laptop had the box checked to allow the adapter to turn itself off in certain power schemes, so I unchecked that box. However, it's still happening, which leaves me with Spybot as the only suspect again.

Have you tried uninstalling Spybot yet to see if it's really caused by it?
