Exclamation Spybot 2 does not recognize Firefox on Windows 8 64bit

The title really says it all.

My Firefox 17.0 is not a portable version, but still Spybot 2 is unable to find it.
Maybe some registry entry, that Spybot 2 looks at, is missing in Win8 64?
I could manually add it, if I knew what SS&D is looking for.

    -- added --
Firefox was already installed before I installed Spybot 2.

As a last resort, it would be nice if the Browsers tabsheet in Setup would allow to add a browser manually.
    -- end of additions --

In the current state, for me SS&D is pretty useless.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Hello,

Do you have an entry for Firefox here?
    C:\Users\username\Application Data\Local\Mozilla

    Best regards

    You probably mean "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Mozilla"

There is a folder named Mozilla there, containing a subfolder "Firefox".

Maybe Windows 8 does not use "Application Data" so much?

    Thanks,

    Hello Dick,

    Please open the Start Center.
Then open the Settings with a rightclick and choose "run as administrator".
Go to the tab "Portable Browsers".
Now click on "Add" and try to add your Firefox here.

Otherwise an Immunization-Browsers.log would be helpful.

    Best regards
