Question rootkit flags in my first deep scan

    Hi all,

As you can probably tell just by the title of this thread, I am not at all an expert on these matters and would appreciate advice on what to do with the rootkit flags I got when I performed a deep scan of my system. Please see attached screenshot. Not sure what additional info would be useful except to say I have an old machine and am running XP SP2 (yes, I know, I know, but it works for me ;-)

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

    Regards,

    zaziepoo

    Hello zaziepoo,

Do you have AVG anti virus installed, the entries appear to be related to that software.

If the the log was copy pasted into this topic a search could be performed on the key.

    Best regards.

Thanks Tashi. Yes, I do have AVG. I will try to copy the text directly and will come back to you soon.

    Best regards,
