    Default How do I disable Spybot-2?

    Hi Everybody,
    I have a concern that Spybot-2 (v:2.0.12.0) may be interfering with the backup software that I am trying to use.

    The drive image software is Paragon Backup & Restore and their forum suggests disabling any anti-virus operations. I’m guessing Spybot-2 falls into that category.

    Any suggestions?

    Spybot 2.0 does not have a Live Protection component (Resident) anymore,it's mostly an on-demand scanner,so any interference with other software wouldn't be as likely to happen.

    Is the backup software not working correctly,or is this just a general concern?

    I dont think Spybot 2 will cause any interfereces to other Software. If there is a problem with your Backup-Tool, it may be caused from something else.
