I am back

It seems like I have something weird going on. It started when TornTV appeared. I got rid of Torn TV but parts are still kicking around. Now it seems the computer runs okay, but at times web browsers will not work. Downloading virus scanners does not seem to work and my current virus software has stopped working.

Any help would be appreciated!

I am looking around. It appears that I have "Whitesmoke" Tool bar. I have tried to uninstall it, but the add or remove program will not remove it. I can remove other programs, but not this one...

Please revisit the FAQ which may have changed since your last visit.

Instructions in post #2 for posting the preliminary preliminary DDS and aswMBR logs used for analysis. http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288

Then start a new topic providing the logs as shown in that sticky and a volunteer analyst will advise when available.
