How often does Spybot S@D update,and how often does Spybot 2 update?

how can it download new ones if not wed
also on smart center says SOFTWARE UP TO DATE
does that mean by wed it will alert its ready for NEW wed updates
is there some way know on FREE version
1x used just say NO UPDATES AVALABLE
