I can decipher the current system

The last change to your free program, has totally stumped me. As a neophyte I can't figure out what's malware. I moderate a non-profit egroup made up of non-technical parents. I have for years recommended Spybot to my parent to help them maintain their computers and reduce spam to our egroup. Now the program is impossible to use by neophtes with less computer knowledge.

How do you and figure out what is evil and needs to be removed? Even my techie son was scratching his head.

Currently there is no much information about the threat levels.
We will improve that as soon as possible.

The threat level list goes from 1 to 10, where 10 is the worst.

Threat levels range from 1 (quite harmless) to 10 (severe). Level one is used for cookies etc. while 10 is used for trojans, rootkits etc. If you clean all of them with "Fix selected" you are as safe as you can get.
