Default Trojan urausy / ukash/ or office central de Lutte...

    Sirs, Hope you can help
2 days ago My PC was blocked but the above. (it was the French version as I live in France) I had Spy bot on the PC.
I ran Spy bot. nothing turned up except some level 5 threats - any way I fixed them all.

It is a new PC with McAfee loaded. it did not see the Trojan! and since then Mcaffee has not responded.
O got back into the Pc and ran Spybot again result nothing!
I downloaded another well known anti virus prog. it also showed nothing
I went into regedit and Explorer.exe was there on its own.

What I want to ask is does Spybot fix this trojan?
If So how do i know?

    Michael

I don't see it listed, but it's possible that it might be called something else besides Urausy.

You might want to ask for help in Malware Removal.

    Hi

I could not see it either.
The type is written about all over the net.
It is a blocker Trojan, that looks like the local police force requiring a fine to un block the computer.
It arrives as one page and intiially there is nothing else that one can do

I have found descriptions and methods to get rid of it

so i am only asking so others can be helped by spybot

    Thank you

    Yes,I know of it.
It may be in detections under a different name, but in case it isn't,you could make a request for an addition to Spybot detections here.
