    Default Trojanc-05 returns after cleaning

I like the spybot so decided to try this spybot with the antivirus control, and I must say, it's over my head already. I'm a bit older then most of you..anyway, the first time I used it, I clicked on clean for everything and it did contain the trojan c-05 in the registry, it wiped too much, I lost good stuff, so I worked hard to get all that back, then found this trojan c-05 again. This time I unchecked everything but that and it removed it, so I thought, ...everytime my computer acts up, which is every few days, I scan, it finds this trojan, I remove, it comes back and causes me problems. I need to know what to do here, I'm beginning to get really frustrated at this program and thinking maybe I should have stuck to just the plain spybot, at least I understood it better. I haven't tried taking it off with something else yet, after it comes back of course, before it comes back I can't find it. WHen it finds it, it states its Trojan c-05 rule id: 8E73A7FB. Can you help?

    Please read Before You Post
While best efforts are made to assist in removing infections safely, unexpected stuff can happen. It is advisable that you back up your important data before starting any clean up procedure. Neither Safer Networking Forums nor the Analyst providing the advice may be held responsible for any loss.

Until we deem your system clean I am going to ask you not to install or uninstall any software or hardware except for the programs we may run.

Running programs with Vista or Windows 7 , Right Click and select RUN AS ADMINISTATOR

Download DDS from one of the links below to your desktop

    Link 1
    Link 2

    • Double click the tool to run it.
    • A black Screen will open, just read the contents and do nothing.
    • When the tool finishes, it will open 2 reports, DDS.txt and attach.txt
    • Copy/Paste the contents of 'DDS.txt' into your post.
    • 'attach.txt' should be zipped using Windows native zip utility and attached to your post. Compress and uncompress files (zip files)

    Information on A/V control Here

    Download aswMBR.exe ( 511KB ) to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it, just run the scan and Save Log, please do not fix anything

Click the "Scan" button to start scan

On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply

Due to inactivity, this thread will now be closed.

If it has been three days or more since your last post, and the helper assisting you posted a response to that post to which you did not reply, your topic will not be reopened. At that point, if you still require help, please start a new topic and include a new DDS log with a link to your previous thread. Please do not add any logs that might have been requested in the closed topic, you would be starting fresh.
